I really like Book Depository bookmarks! This is one of my very favourite category of bookmarks!
Book Depository bookmarks are designed by (1) Book Depository, (2) authors and designers at the invitation of Book Depository and (3) by people of all ages, including children, in response to competitions conducted by Book Depository. The winning bookmarks, as judged by Book Depository and public voting become part of an annual set and one (or more) bookmarks are distributed to customers with their book purchases.
I have many of these Book Depository bookmarks, but alas, at this stage, not all! The ones I do have are exhibited in the picture galleries below. To see the image enlarged, click on it. Where this is the case, I have removed the link).
My aim is to complete my collection of Book Depository bookmarks over time, so if you have any of them to donate to me or exchange with me that will be really great!!!

NOTE: I am no longer adding new releases of Book Depository bookmarks to this page of my website beyond the "Book Besties" series released in 2018. Book Depository is more frequently releasing bookmarks these days and it is difficult to keep up! I shall however, continue to collect Book depository bookmarks when and where I can.

BOOK DEPOSITORY: NEW LOOK BOOKMARK 2016
In October 2016, Book Depository introduced their "bright new look" - a new logo and wordmark. I received the bookmark celebrating the new look with a book I ordered from Book Depository as a Christmas gift for my partner. Had to keep the bookmark for myself though! 
"The old logo, holy cow, talk about useless. I'm guessing they are single quotations marks — because otherwise they are the worst depiction of tadpoles in a whirlpool I've ever seen. The wordmark was also pretty bad, set extremely tight without any visual adjustment particularly in the "ory" part and the "The" was so small it could have passed for misplaced ™ symbol. The new logo makes it crystal clear what the Book Depository is about: Books. There is no visual play, no allegories, no reference to "depository"… just a book. End of story. There is nothing inherently wrong with it other than being literally literal within a literal context. The wordmark is a major improvement and looks nice in the stacked lock-up". ~ BRAND NEW : Opinions on corporate and brand identity work. |

UPDATE: After receiving more copies of this bookmark through swaps, I realised there was more than one back to the bookmark! Here are the three I have. I am not sure how many were released by Book Depository.
