Kerrie More was one of the very kind people, along with others and myself, who donated bookmarks to the WOBODA Bookmark Raffle (See earlier posts). As the winner of this raffle I received over 2,500 bookmarks and this is one of them, and one of my favourites. I contacted Kerrie via email to find out more about it... "Hi again Kerrie I have just noticed that one of the bookmarks you sent me, a handcrafted one, says by Mrs. More. Is that you? Love this bookmark and also the craft of blackout poetry. A treasure... THANK YOU! Kind regards, Debrah" "Hi Debrah, Yes, I made that one as a design challenge for Uppercase Magazine. It was published in Issue #29. I am a high school librarian, and we have the kids create blackout poetry for fun so I thought I would try it :-) Thanks for noticing and for your kind words, Kerrie!" I love having this handmade bookmark in my collection. Thanks Kerrie. There are lots of great articles and YouTube videos, etc., about blackout poetry and how to create it. Just Google it! |
